This short film began as a simple interrogation scene among film classmates, but it unexpectedly transformed into something magical.
What started as an exercise became an exploration of creativity, connection, and storytelling, capturing the spark of collaboration and the unexpected beauty that can arise from shared moments.
Grounding
Grounding is an observational documentary short film shot in Roossenekal, Limpopo, South Africa. It explores the profound experience of returning home, stepping away from the chaos of the big city, and immersing oneself in a world that reminds you to breathe, pray, reset, and rise again.

This film is a love letter to the small, often overlooked moments of life, the wind, the birds, the sun, the grass, the cattle,our family— all gentle reminders to invest in ourselves, find purpose and solace in silence.
DOULEUR
Douleur, meaning pain and grief, is a poetic documentary that explores the turmoil of confusion, the weight of depression, and the resilience of survival. It is a raw and intimate portrayal of struggle, survival, and the unwavering fight to rise above darkness—an ode to the strength found in choosing to overcome.
A MOTHERS GRIP
Created by incredible people , A Mother’s Grip is a film project created for the annual 48-hour film race competition hosted by Garden Routes Media. A testament to creativity under pressure, this project was conceived, filmed, and completed within just two days, showcasing both artistic vision and storytelling prowess.

FICTIONAL STORY TELLING
VIRAL
Our 2-minute short film follows a character named Miles. It begins with Miles as he arrives and falls asleep at the bus stop and enters a dream world resembling the bus stop. In this dream, he sees a trending topic on his phone, the K1 virus and AK1 vaccination. Miles meets Mr. Man, a futuristic robot-like man in a black suit, who warns him about the dangers of the vaccination to humanity. Despite the ominous warning, Miles dismisses it and continues his journey.

He dumps into people, and they keep talking about the vaccine. Confused, Miles moves on. Miles realizes that everyone is be under some form of control. He wakes up at the bus stop, and Mr. Man tells him the bus has arrived. As Miles passes, Mr. Man recites a line from the dream, leaving Miles confused about whether it was a mere hallucination or a glimpse into a bleak future.

In this suspenseful tale, follow Zoe, an ordinary student who embarks on a seemingly ordinary day on campus. With her headphones on and eyes glued to her phone, she unknowingly steps into a relentless cycle.

As Zoe desperately tries to break free, the chilling truth slowly unravels. She is caught in a dreadful loop, where reality and the supernatural collide. The film takes a spine-tingling twist as it reveals her haunting predicament. She had committed suicide at school that Is why in the beginning we don’t see her walking onto campus with everyone and she has red marks on her neck.
Experience the emotional roller-coaster as Zoe confronts her eerie fate, trapped in a never-ending maze. "Still Here" will leave you questioning the boundaries of existence and the uncharted territories of the afterlife.
